Rosa Fine Jewelry
The RFJ Method
Designing a ring — or a modern heirloom — should feel considered, not overwhelming. What follows is the path we walk together, from the first message to the moment the piece is in your hands. Seven steps, designed for both clarity and flexibility.
01
Step One
Inquiry
Start where you are.
Reach out in the way that's easiest. You don't need to have everything figured out — a rough idea, a few reference photos, or a single starting point is enough for us to begin the conversation.
We accept inquiries through
02
Step Two
Direction & Inspiration
Define what you're making.
Before any design work begins, we spend time understanding the piece itself — what it's for and who it's for. That conversation shapes everything that follows.
A Rosa piece might be
- An engagement ring
- A wedding band or set
- A meaningful gift
- A modern heirloom for yourself
What helps us, at this stage
- Reference or inspiration images
- A sense of your design preferences
- A budget range
- Your timeline, including any meaningful dates
03
Step Three
Design & Specifications
Make the decisions that shape the piece.
We guide you through every choice — slowly, and in the order that makes sense. If it helps, we can prepare multiple quotations across different materials and stones so you can compare side by side.
Metal
- 14k or 18k gold
- Yellow or white
Stone
- Lab-grown or natural diamonds
- Or coloured gemstones — rubies, emeralds, sapphires, alexandrite, pearls
Certification
- With or without IGI or GIA certification
Details
- Engravings, custom elements, specific design requests
04
Step Four
Quotation & Initial Approval
Confirm the direction.
Based on your chosen specifications, we issue a quotation. To move into design, we ask for a signed approval and either a 50% downpayment or full payment up front. Pay in full at this stage and we'll take 5% off the total.
At this point, the quote is a careful estimate — final pricing is confirmed once the CAD is approved.
05
Step Five
CAD & Final Design
See it before it's made.
Our designers refine your piece in CAD. You'll receive a rendering for review, and at this stage you can still request adjustments.
What you can still change
- Size
- Proportions
- Stone selection
- Design details
Changes here may affect final pricing. Once you approve and sign off on the CAD, the design is locked for production.
06
Step Six
Craft
Bring it to life.
Your piece is then crafted by our atelier jewelers with careful attention to every detail and finish. Production typically takes one to three weeks depending on design complexity, the number of pieces, and the time of year.
For weddings, proposals, and other dated milestones, we recommend allowing at least 30 days in your timeline so the process stays unhurried.
07
Step Seven
Final Approval & Delivery
And then it's yours.
Once production is complete, we'll send photos and videos for your final approval. After sign-off, we issue the final invoice, settle the remaining balance, and arrange handoff.
Delivery options
- Complimentary nationwide delivery
- Scheduled pickup at our office, if you prefer
